Never knew school time is this busy. I thought this whole 9 months will be my honeymoon period. Guess not!!

Been sleeping off my sleeping hours. Used to sleep at sharp 10pm when I first started work. Then, the hours gets further, but still before 12am. Now, I sleep way past 12am, sometimes up to 5am. All thanks to school!

Guess that is a typical student’s life? But I don’t remember staying up so late doing assignments or studying when I was a student. Probably, spending those wee hours playing with the computer. Haha.

So yeah, exam is just around the corner. Exam is on Monday-Wednesday and I have not started studying anything! I have been sleeping all day long and trying to gain back my skills on HTMLs and photoshop which I have lost for few years. Now I know why I love photoshop. It is just simply…..my playground. I wish I could draw, I cannot even draw a heart shape using the touch panel on my Macbook T_T….

Exam’s all on memorizing though. I guess if I start earlier I may have forgotten by the exam day. Gold fish memory I have.

Though been so busy, at least I am able to travel back to KL every month to spend some time with the bf, catch up with the family and just eat MALAYSIAN food.

And oh, I have just started a blogshop selling female apparels (what else kan…). Started it just for the fun of it and I hope that you visit my blogshop and support meeeeeeeeeee!

You can also give me ideas and suggestions to make the site and service better. Many have commented on the first batch of clothings (haha. yes, I need to iron the clothes…i no like ironing la….and yes, i need to EDIT the model  the pictures more and take proper pictures…). I think the model did good. We forced her to be ours because we couldn’t find any….=O

At the same time, my goal is to practice my photography skills!

Photobucket

I will be glad if you can support us by “liking” us at our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter!

We’re trying to bring in more pretty clothes, because we girls deserve pretty things! Yays. =)

Ok, I really should start reading my Pathophysiology.

Anyway. Whatever.

Photobucket

Too bad, we did not have our tripod with us along. It was a random trip.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Yeah. Beautiful beautiful scenary…But sigh…

Photobucket

Reflections! T_T

I didn’t have my filter along with me either!

Photobucket

Ain’t it beautiful? How I wish I have a tripod then and filter then. Then it’ll be perfecto!

Just yesterday, we had our 2nd photography outing class at Merlion Park.

Photobucket

Took this cutie pie name Finn. So friendly, so cute kan?

Photobucket

And night photography. Next time I will post on the different light at different time. It’s amazingly beautiful as you see the light changes in the sky. From light blue, to orange to darker blue, to super dark blue

Photobucket

and completely black…..

I enjoyed my class. Leant a lot, and finally understood the concept in photography. =)
Gonna learn more. It’s addictive!

Yes, forgive me once again for I have not blogged for almost 3 month. After much people asking me to update my blog, here I am. Not doing my assignments, but blog!

So yes, assignments. For some of you readers who don’t know, I am now back to school. Yes, back to school again! This time pursuing my nursing education in Advance Diploma in Operating Theater Nursing. Just started this course 3 weeks ago and will last for 9 months.

So far, the modules that I’m struggling with is research and psychosocial. Sigh. No matter what, I still need to go through!

Anyway, just some pictures of what you guys missed the past few months of my disappearance!

Ok, so I bought a new camera in March. After so long, I finally own my first DSLR. =D
Bought a Nikon D7000! well, there goes my money for the month. To make me feel better, I bought this as my birthday gift. Haha.

So the picture below was my first attempt.

Photobucket
This my my friend, Mun Theng. =)

The 2nd week of March was a blast. Company had an annual dinner and it was a privilege to attend because I heard the last annual dinner was many many many years ago!

And of course the next one is my birthday celebration. Was disappointed when my parents told me they were unable to go down to KL to celebrate my birthday. I travelled from Singapore to KL for the weekend for my birthday.

Little did I know, I was surprised to see my parents and lil sister! Thanks to my dearest and sister for the planning. Really made my day even more special. Family brings much happiness.

Next was Danee’s birthday that fell on April Fool’s. We celebrated a day earlier at clubs. Well, the night did not end too well when our dear Fang Fang fainted all of a sudden, tried to save her from any injury but too late, a chair fell on her forehead and left a deep cut!

Photobucket
She was admitted for a night, just for observation and some stitches by plastic surgeon. She’s is fine, just some vasovagal syncope.

I have been going back to KL very often within these few months. The boyfie is there and since I have some time, I would just travel down since it is hard for him to come to Singapore as the exchange rate is so high. He told me this on my birthday, “If I were to go to Singapore to celebrate your birthday, I could not give you as much as I could give like now.” He won’t be able to spend on food and gift as much as in KL.

Singapore why you so expensive? Malaysia, why you so POOR?!

So yea, I went back during one of the weekend in April. And after I arrived, the boyfie asked me to accompany him to an event. Little did I know, the event is the JW Black Circuit Party, where it’s only by invitation! Fuyoh, feel so atas for a while.

Photobucket
so as usual, his blogger friends. And me, sesat lah.

Photobucket
The event was hot, amazing and wow. Kinda enjoyed myself seeing celebrities, big shots, sexy woman, ugly guys, hot guys, drunkards and inhale cigarette smoke for 3 hours. Aih.

So after enjoying myself, it’s time to go back to school.
School was already tough in the first week. Praying that I can cope til next year!
Classmates are nice and friendly.

Photobucket
We celebrated Charity’s birthday. My birthday was in March. Even if I wait til next year, I cannot celebrate liao in class. I kinda miss classroom birthday celebration actually. LOL.

The class of 18 students only.

And again, I have mentioned just now that I go back to KL often. Just last week, I travelled again to KL during Easter weekend. One of the reason is to visit CHCKL. =)

The boyfie and I was deciding on what to have for dinner on my first night in KL. Then I suggested Souled Out as it was ages ago since we last ate there!

Photobucket
Due to my braces, I was and is still unable to eat some food. So Carbonara it is. Yummy!

And of course, missing chee cheong fun! The boyfie brought me to have some chee cheong fun at his neighbourhood.

Photobucket

Food was so so, but I enjoyed the company.

Photobucket
Another attempt of snapping good picture. I kinda like this picture. Hehe

And oh, how many of you love Pooh bear? I love pooh bear to the max!

And I bought this cute luggage bag!

Photobucket
Aww, how can you not love it? It’s pricey though but I don’t care! haha.
My friend told me it cost $200 in Singapore! I bought this for about $110 only.

And just today, I went to meet up with my friends to catch up with them. Miss all the girl talks and gossips!

And I have a little message here…

Dear Geraldine…
You have finally found someone who can cherish you and love you, take care of you and protect you. I hope everything will go on well with u and your dearest! You both are sweet and often keep me company!

Photobucket
Congratulations and all the best to you both! =)

I never knew what “Huat Ah” means. Was wondering the meaning when everyone wishes me that. Then, a friend told me that “Huat” means “Fa” or “Fatt“, which means prosperity.

And being a working adult, their well wishes are mostly, “Be prosperous”. Not that is bad, just feeling different. When I was much younger, CNY is all about fun and collecting ang pows. Never really bother about prosperity. Prosperity is good, but treat prosperity wise too.

Photobucket

Photobucket

But anyways, Chinese New Year is not all about being prosperous. It is also the time to spend time with your loved ones.

Photobucket
Had reunion dinner with the bf’s family for the 2nd time. The food were awesome! =D Then, the bf drove me back to Kuantan and spent the first day of CNY with me and my family for the first time. Had an awesome time together though.

2nd day of CNY is the most meriah one, when my relatives came down from Singapore, JB and KL. Of course, it gets more meriah when we have our 2 lil cousins along. =)

Photobucket

Amanda and Tarnia greeted us with “Gong Xi Fa Cai!” and they cheered us up with their big bright happy smiles!

Our reunion dinner mainly falls on the 2nd or 3rd day of CNY where everybody is back home. The food, oh so yummilicious Hainanese food!

Photobucket

sometimes, its also great hanging out with extended relatives too.

Photobucket

On the 3rd day of CNY, we went for our usual beach outing as the cousins loves the beach. This time we headed over to Pantai Sepat. It’s been awhile since I been there. It’s clean and not crowded!

This is also the best opportunity to practice my photography skills. Still bad, but I think it’s okay for a nooby like me. I was using daddy’s Nikon D90. Some pictures are taken by my sister using uncle’s Nikon D3100. Also, from here I learnt that taking pictures in RAW and just JPEG has difference especially when it comes to editing.

I thought I have mastered the knowledge of Shutter speed and Aperture, but whenever I hold a DSLR, I fail to understand. Settings will never get right! Anyways, way way way way way lots to learn!

I like the blue sky. Haha, edited it! With RAW, the sky can turn blue when I edit. Without RAW, no matter how much I enhance, the sky will never turn blue but the sea will turn as muddy as it can.

I have watched somewhere on YouTube, that, do not glue onto your handphone and ignore the guests.

Photobucket
Well, they are the guests. And they are all on the phone. Even Tarnia! All facebooking except for Tarnia, playing with her games on her mommy’s iPhone.
Tarnia knows which is iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4!

Kids are all so smart these days. And they make us happy! =)

Photobucket
Always looking forward for CNY because of the smiles we put on our faces. Everyone is happy, and I hope we all can be as happy as that all the time!

Photobucket
Wishing all of you a very happy new year! Well wishes and be prosperous in this year and in the near future!

It’s funny that despite being in a country with majority Chinese community, I was the ONLY Chinese at work today afternoon. The tea room was filled with Tagalog, Tamil and Burmese language.

Obviously shows the majority staff in this hospital’s OT are foreigners.

Photobucket

Oh well, at least I got my first angpow for this CNY from the hospital! I am definitely looking forward for more!

Work was extremely free today, a weekday, a TUESDAY. The list was like a Saturday’s list, not approaching 30 cases today. Time ticks so slowly, it was as if the whole afternoon took 24 hours. I was waiting for the next day’s list to come out so I could decide if I am able to apply for leave. When the list came out, there was less than 15 cases! Like, wow? On a WEDNESDAY?

Now, you see an obvious Chinese majority community. Everyone is preparing for CNY the next day!

So yeah, I managed to get a day leave tomorrow and I am ready to wake up earlier to clear my room.
(My room is still as messy as if it just got hit by tsunami). I just do not know how to clear all these mess. I would like to request to have my room door close throughout the whole CNY season.

Photobucket
Picture taken with my iPhone 4.

And oh, I was out with Danee this morning for a pedicure session at We Love Nails, ION Orchard. She brought her Lumix GF2 along and O-M-G the camera is awesome! Made me feel like getting one! But like what daddy said, “If you want to get a DSLR, drop that thought of getting a GF2!

But Lumix GF2 is so awesome, I want one also!

Anyway, I can’t wait to go back to KL tomorrow. So many complications on my travel itinerary, I must make this holiday a good one. Because of that one mistake I made, I had to pay an extra $90. Not worth it for just one mistake you know? It hurts so bad. $90 can buy a nice pair of jeans liao.

And of course, to meet me love. <3 The one that will always make my heart leap. =)
